We brought about 10 kids aged about 10 to SENTOSA UNDERWATER WORLD!!! Hooray.

I thought it was some lame shit. We're just there to see sharks and fishes right? So I spent all my time taking photos with my classmates la. But I did help alittle! I wasn't attached to any kid you see. 25 of us looking after 10, so I just helped carry the radio and this cute girl's pink bag.

We toured the whole underwater world man. There was once I felt so lonely I went into the tunnel alone. Do you know the biggest shark in the world? Do you know there are more than 1000000 species in the underwater world tank? Do you know I just crapped all these out? Okay but I really did go inside alone. Just reflecting my childhood days where I would run around the tunnel. The kids were very cheeky la, all my classmates were chasing after them. Its so childish and yet touching, I dunno why. Do you know?

So anyway after our visit we sat at the outskirts of Siloso beach for lunch. There we taught the kids some vj massdances and gave them some food.
They were no different to other kids
They were students by day, brothers by night
This is Sam, Andy, Kelvin, Alan, Cheeky, Donovan, Johnny, Daniel and them.
They were all brothers, they go through think and thin together
They play by their own rules, and don't care what others think
They play E, Smack K
One day, they were raided by CNB.
One by one, their brothers left them
Then they realised, they weren't rebelling against others, but themselves.

-drugs leave you more alone then ever. Say no to drugs
Some advertisement.

okay so anyway.. This brother and sister pair wanted to pee.. So me and jasme_8811 brought them to the toilet la. That guy ah damn sneaky. Just as I was about to pee he ran away from me! So i have no choice but to find him la. He was outside the girls toilet. haha one sly fella. And as we were walking back to our eating place, Jasmine asked the sister to teach our mass dances to their parents. Then she said "I have only mother, no father".. "my father..." and then she gave the dead sign.. you know you curl your index finger that sign. Yeah and usually you would think she said it with grief and sadness.. but what left us sad was she said it with no expression at all.. like its all too common. U know that time I really don't know whether to laugh or cry. Mixed feelings man. But as if I will la. Yeah. So after that we brought them back to their childcare centre at Tampines. We sang alot of songs on the bus sia. Whole day singing "We were strangers.. starting out on a journey" After that!..we played playground la. Haha so fun. 17 year olds playing blind mice. Its at times like this we relive our childhood. I love S45 man. Okay!

On an equally happy note, Orientation 2 was kinda fun but boring. Fun cos theres no lessons and theres some amazing race thing. Boring cos its all the cheers and shit. ALmost all the vs guys got dunked la. All sabo each other. Sadists sia. Then at night they went suntec for mass dance..while I went to dance at the field. nevermind.. I walk a lonely road. blah blah blah blah boulevard of broken dreams.

Then again.. what comes around comes around what goes up must come down.

Hello my fellow valentines!

It has been a hellava 2 days.

Sunday was Limbohwee's treat. He's leaving for aussieland to study you see. Giving some VSXC a farewell meal ah. Suntec Swensens and we had no holds barred. We ordered 2 earthquakes man. Really had one there. So funny. After that we went to buy some gifts for Monday Vday.

Vday!
Whoohoo. Early assembly got some friendship dance. Didn't dance though. Paiseh ah dunno who to dance with. Ah then recess yay had some chocolates and gifts from my mortal and angel! So nice. Got an apple and a note too. Such a memorable Vday spent in Vj. Or rather a co-ed school la!

Aiyo. I'm not used to this style of blogging. I realised there are very contrasting styles. One on their life much like a journal, one giving a TIME magazine article. Funny though. Lets all laugh and shout "Love is in the air!"

Anyway after school we went for Jack's treat at Seoul Garden. Usual bbq and usual food la. Nonetheless I shall be open and honest about the FLAVAs in my beloved new school. Some are really hot! But fortunately, I'm currently obliged to study hard and train hard. I really do intend to get 4 As for my A' levels. Studies is the key to your future. Don't you agree? Go study now, while i continue blabbering about JC life.

School usually ends at 3 or 4. Very tiring.
Now i cannot change in class. There were a few people who looked at me oddly. Oh well.. It cost a bomb too, but I think I might still go ahead and buy it anyway. Ocean's Twelve was confusing and not as action-packed as i thought. Oh bummer. But nevermind the real good show was after Ocean's Twelve. We dined at Marche and chatted. Good and Solid conversations, we had. About everything under the sun; funny, serious and sometimes boring. Because charles always repeats himself.

"She's damn nice la". I dunno who.

We went walking around after Marche andden to Coffee Bean @ Borders. Talked somemore before Shaun and Charles left. Then it got personal. For our prelims. We had a great time really. I didn't know the teachers have great sense of humour. All of them. In the midst of their laughter I can't help but to begin missing my vs days. No words too bombastic or beautiful can portray the memories shared in my school. Afterall the school is the teachers and the students. Its not much about the building actually. Even if you have a big and nice school, its the teachers and students that give you memories. Memories to keep.

Okay anyway, from the FEEL of things, we can conclude that Miss Sheika has definitely lots to learn in driving. She damn drama-mama sia. Turn one time also must "AHHH!". But HO ku damn funny la he just asked her to "shut up la!". Too funny.

Well as for the return trip it was left with sheika me and nabil. We turned the car into a rock-and-roll jukebox sia. Winded -down all our windows, and blasted perfect10. You feel the wind on your face and you think.. Ah, life is good.

And good, she is. She sent me back home so nice. I really love my teachers. They will be missed.

By the way, heres a factfile of me many do not know. I'm a hakka. Not hokkien not teochew. Very rare to find in singapore to be honest. But if you do find, then you're quite lucky. To my current knowledge, Lee kuan Yew and family, Shie Shao Guang, Fann Wong and few others are hakka. Not as if I'm proud to be one la, but its just something for you to know. Afterall we learn new things everyday, the ones most interesting the easiest to remember.

Yeah, got that information from my mother while we were watching Star awards. Mark Lee damn cute sia. Oh ya, and I'm not just a hakka, I'm a pure hakka. All of my grandparents are hakka. So naturally my dad and mum are hakka and here am I.

Hakka...

dance?

Thailand

Sawadeekap Everyone!

Thailand is wonderful. The people, the food, the runs (because I can finally run slow) and the price! I bought 9 t-shirts in total, 2 of which are BODYGLOVE t-shirts that cost a ridiculously $30. It's damn dirt cheap, considering 2 t-shirts of a known brand. Nevertheless, I still spent about $300 for the trip. Big money if you ask me.

But with money comes fun. On day 2, we stopped by at this b-e-a-utiful place by the name of...(drumroll)

Not that we paid any money to go there, it was on the itinerary. Credit to the teachers and the tourguides for bringing us there, that restuarant was really an eye-opener. There they sell cute
souvenirs, food, and yes condoms of low quality in my opinion. The food wasn't that nice, but there was this young "Sui Mak Mak" waitress serving us. FOOD. The sec 4s took a photo with her, and boy am I delighted to be amongst the lucky ones. There...

And there was this saying that you've never been to Thailand until you try their traditional Thai Foot Massage. So now I can proudly say I'VE BEEN TO THAILAND. As usual, we sneaked out after "Lights out". The massage room was inside the hotel la, so it was quite safe. But not until we were greeted by the ever-famous "shim". Outside she was quite decent looking, but inside he sounded like a commando( Okay that was a slight exaggeration ). But anyway the massage was good. The massage provided the best natural sleeping pill man. After a few strokes I was already on the verge of entering dreamland. But I had my reservations. My masseur was a "blessed-with-food" middle-aged lady who showed no mercy in giving me the massage of my life. So pain, yet so shiok! Well that's not the point. The point is, I'm afraid the shemale might take advantage of me! So in a way I was sleeping with my eyes open. Get it? Ah...garbage can.

We also took some nostalgic pictures, of nostalgic friends.

1)Birdie junior Farrell with his controversial T-shirt.

2)Some minah who likes to act cute

Thats my teacher by the way.

3)Model J

4) Lee

5)And introducing VSXC 2004

( Pictures are courtesy of my VSXC captain Ronghua and Jingjie, my roomate for 4 years.)

Other than these interesting events, we spent rest of our time eating sleeping shopping running talking travelling playing watching tv. Its the same old thing every year actually, but this year with an added spice.

Thailand. I like.

I want to dedicate this song to thailand.

Elephant Song

Chang! I love the feeling man.

Yes and so right after the examiner said you may go, Victoria School witnessed the sequel of the 1970 HOCK LEE BUS RIOT. People fighting, throwing paper, spraying fire extinguisher infront of DM, as if theres really a fire. Ya la the fire inside them. Happy already la, no more exams...

And knowing that the rgs sngs sji scgs peeps will go party in town, we went suntec. Cool place man. We sort of divided ourselves into the rich and the poor. Rich ones went marche, poor ones dined at bk and kfc. Obviously i took the latter. Anyway we watched incredibles after that. That show was incredible man! I reeally love it. Especially Dash. If i could run as fast as him, whoohoo!. ANd violet, hahaha. If I was invisible, hehehee. Maybe I'll take some sneak peeks....

At the exam papers la, what you thinking of.

Gotta blast. And i just realised something. That feelings do come back. Oh man this is killing me. If given a 2nd chance, shd one take it or look forward? Who knows. Its a termly publication of articles by some Victorians who want to show off their English proficiency. Nonetheless, I find this particular edition very intriguing. Unlike other Victorianas, this issue contains many quotes from teachers and students alike. Well, one caught my attention.

"One should never underestimate the importance of journal writing as it is an invaluable cathartic experience worth relishing. It provides the window to our inner thoughts which helps us to better understand ourselves."
-Mdm Tazneen-

Okay from what I heard she was from rgs. No wonder. Anyway, I find such quotes very enriching. This brings me to another quote.

"A quote says a thousand pictures"
-Zi Rui-

Enriching don't you think so? And this brings me to another quote... Okay this will go on forever.

I agree what Tazneen says. Totally. This is one of the many reasons why people blog. To "better understand ourselves". Years later when you are in university or in the army, you will be able to look back at your archives and think "WAH SEH. I'm like that?" Haha. I bet that would be some memories for you to keep man.

Speaking of bets, I have many friends who are real "betters". Is there such a word? Oh yes bookies I mean. Seriously, they are betting hundreds on Man United, Arsenal man. Wah lau they damn stupid can want to bet bet Chelsea la. Okay that was nonsense. They are even collecting bets for people now. Haiyoh I really hope they don't get caught. Go Jail know. What's more, I think betting and gambling really devalues the value of money. Regardless if you own some oil company or need to walk 10 miles to sell hand-made goods to earn a "morsel" of Rupees, "one should never underestimate the importance of" money. Exactly. So don't just go "Singapore Pools" and shade off your hard-earned money on four digits, or bank on off-form players like Wayne rooney or worst still Pascal Cygan. -( No offence, I'm a Liverpool fan)- Save it for the rainy days mah (Wei4 yu3 chuo2 mou2). It's stupid to bet so much on stuff like these. Although I don't mind risking some coins for a small bet. SMALL(like 1 or 2..err at most 5 la). Oh haha yay this reminds me of another quote. No maybe two.

"money is the root of all eveil."

AND

"money makes the world go round." Take your pick

And picking reminds me of Singapore Idol. I pick Olinda! You? Don't tell me you're another Syl fan. Well then again, in my opinion, many "innocent little school girls"(quote from Ken Lim) want Sylvester to emulate their favourite Jay Chou or David Tao or blah blah blah. Well yes can't blame them, Singapore is indeed lacking of such talent. I'm not saying Kit Chan sucks, nor am i anti-Sun Yanzi. I think they are great! BUT. But, to contribute to someone's journey to stardom and fame by voting is something special, even for the voters. That someone happens or rather used to be an ordinary singaporean walking along Orchard Road not worth another glance, but now is giving autographs and taking photographs with these not-so-innocent "little school girls", MUCH TO THE JEALOUSY OF THEIR CLASSMATES WHO AREN'T THAT LUCKY. (or maybe not that suay and selfish)
-no offence-
^.^

And yes, that journey is...

No doubt Singapore Idol is a great show, but I would rather request for more transparency on the number of votes. How do we really know if Daphne really got the lowest number of votes? At least say the number can? Okay nonsense if they really did that they must as well cancel the results show. Ay but then cancel also nevermind. Earn so much money already.

Idol series really got us hooked man. I'm one of the majority, unfortunately. But as much as I want to be an exception, I really want to see Olinda win this competition. Thus, I admit that I've capitulated to the temptation of their advertisements on "Your Vote matters" and "Keep your Idols' dreams alive". Ah.. the depravity of advertising power.

Okay at this rate, I'm going to offend many fans out there. so "pweaze outz". And my quotes too, being a philosopher is definitely not my cup of tea. I would rather work for Simon Cowell and EARN SOME BIG BUCKS!

HAHA, oh yeah by the way, my pick happens to be "money makes the world go round". A contradiction to what I've mentioned a few paragraphs earlier, but Who cares! Maybe my future girlfriend would. I'm still waiting.

Buay!a

Hi kitty.

Haha this reminds me of Anne Frank's diary. Anyway it has been an eventful week. Maybe not week, weeks. Eventful period. Yes a cliche, but I really mean it. Well it started off on saturday I think. My daddy was wearing this polo-shirt with a quote behind that says "there is no such thing as no such thing." Essentially, it is something like expect the unexpected. Agree? Many unexpected things were waiting for me then.

Saturday was the day i got to know my brother's true colours. He fought with a guy in his schoolbus. Well from his version, that guy started to flood him with cheena "bad-words". My brother pulled his hair, and he pulled back. Then he gave him the PUNCH.

Cool story? Try listening to it from a pri2 kid. Maybe not a kid anymore. By the way, that guy is 2 years his senior. I may reprimand him on the outside, but deep
inside i feel a great sense of pride in my brother for standing for "what's right"

Hmm. Then today. "Yi ge feng he ri li de tuesday". (haha i always use that phrase for chinese). My uncle and grandma treated us to Petals. Its a posh cafeteria at Clarke Quay. Anyway the waiters and waitresses there are all "In-training". Cool? Yes a restaurant to train these people up so they can work in the hotels after graduating. So naturally i can't help but to scrutinize their performance. Not that i'm a supervisor, but you really can't help it when you are only one of their 2 patrons. Well, from my point of view, i thought their service was not up to standard.

"Can i have the Ribye steak please? No cheese okay. Must remember hor."

Few minutes later.

"Sir, your steak."

And the cheese was beside the steak, displaying its bright yellow.

If that guy was serving to me, i would have -.-. Thankfully, it was the oldie beside us. I must appluad his patience, even after he explicitly mentioned "NO CHEESE". Surprisingly, he didn't get angry. Ohwell, I had Lamb Chop and went home.

Few hours later

I was back home and I decided to play with Junior, the new house hamster. 4 months old only. ( SO CUTE!!!)

Cute my ass. I put my finger into the cage, and he devoured it. Shocked, I yanked him out of the cage and he came flying down the floor from 1m. He was shocked too. I pity him man. He cuddled up after that, fearful of another "attack". Ay but i bled okay. BAD hamster.

"Life's full of uncertainties, but that is what makes life worth living for." Don't you think so? Smart quote huh. My invention.

Speaking of smart, my mother wants me to go rj. But thats a no-no for me. okay thats not the point. The real smart ass is my cousin. Well my cousin is from NYGH you see, and she is one out of the 4 in her school to have RJ, Hwa Chong blah blah.. come knocking on her door. Thats right. Invitations. See la, she so smart. I paiseh sia. But I heard she wants to go Njc. ??!?!@#$%^&*. I don't get it. My auntie says she wants her to go to a cheena Jc or something. Dunno la. The bottom line is, she's smart. I'm damn proud of her. =)

Okay thats quite a long entry. haha. Tomorrow's Biology. As in "wah! i know how to say fuck sia. mature!"

But now right, especially in sec 4, vulgarities have become so common we use it "like free sia!"(quote from kwong yuan). There are so much pro-singapore shit and critisisms against malaysia blah blah blah; If i were a Malaysian I'll really burn that SS book. But thank you, I'm Singaporean.

Then again, from a foreigner's point of view, it really sucks to learn about your country's faults, falacies. For example the seperation between Singapore and Malaysia. And worst still, your O'levels depend on it. So to get a1 for humanities, you have to extol Singapore's greatness in its industrial plan, or blame TENGKU for the seperation. What rubbish...

Oh ya, if you turn to the 2nd chapter of the sec 4 SS book, you'll get to witness the lousiness of Beveridge plan. Yes and all the bullshit on Britain's welfare system. Walau Singapore cunning sia. Purposely let Singaporean teachers mark SS exam. Imagine doing an essay question on British welfare state, which you have almost nothing good to say. If Singapore were to give our exam scripts to the Cambridge markers, don't be surprised to see a F9 for humanities.

Oh by the way, if you happen to be a swiss, i guess its alright. a1 for sure. =)

Haiz, SOCIAL studies indeed.

I seriously think Vs should change their Chemistry apparatus. Either my titration sucks like my com, or the ancient-son-of-a burette just didn't like my delicate fingers fiddling with its body. Try doing the same old titration for 11 times and you'll know. The burette top is broken; you fill it to 50.1cm and it'll overflow, and that opening of the bloody yellow dingdong is so small you take a thousand years to reach your end point. Yes and not to mention the pipette. I think the standard value is 25.12345678cm lor. Ah forget it. How accurate. O levels how?

Oh a brighter note, The Victorian Recital was good! Partly because its free, but more importantly the classic grease music. "grease is the time, is the move, is the motion!" I like. And for the first time in my entire VS life, we didn't get to sing the school song after the performance. Thats so UNLIKE VS. Luckily sec 3 Vs guys had the initiative to start the anthem and the cheer at the Foyer.(AHEM!) Whew my prayers were answered. (okay mayb singing the school song wasn't that important but I really love my school wad!)

I went East-Coast to eat after that.
